The monument, the visitors and of course the F-27's of 334sq, they seemed to belong to Soesterberg
Air Base forever. Unfortunately since December 2008 the monument is the only thing remaining...

For years these gracious Friendships were a common sight at Soesterberg Air Base.

During the Open House of 1981 this Maritime version of the F-27 (M-2) was seen just before
heading to the West-Indies to patrol the Caribbean waters.

It took a long time before this type of aircraft appeared i.f.o. my camera while visiting Soesterberg,
but finally at 30 June 2007 it happened.

It didn't happen too often that NF-5 's operated out of "Camp New Amsterdam". In this case
this dual "freedom fighter", together with some colleagues, taxied on the southern taxitrack.

This Rescue version of the Alouette III was present during the Open House in September 1981.

At 12-03-07 this Hercules in new "colours" was present to do some touch and go's.

Once again with nice winter weather; T-264 making touch and go's at EHSB on 15-02-08.

F-60's came quite regularly at Soesterberg. Also this one on 04-04-05 (U-04).

The last couple of years the fighter power usually remained restricted to Dutch F-16's. In this case it was an
extraordinary example of 313 Sq which departed with full afterburner after a short visit in May 2005.
